Racing: Julija Tchepalova (RUS) wins in Canmore
Julija Tchepalova (RUS, Fischer) was todays victress in the Race over 10 km in the free technic in Canmore (CAN). From the beginning she was in the leading position and at the finish she was 14.1 seconds ahead of the Canadian Beckie Scott. Evi Sachenbacher-Stehle (GER) secured third place in this race with artic temperatures.
In the mens race over 15 km the Italian Pietro Piller Cottrer took the victory. He won 14.9 seconds ahead of Vincent Vittoz (FRA). Tobias Angerer (GER) ranked third, 9.6 seconds behind and got back the leading position in the Worldcup.
With seventh and eighth place with Fabio Santus and Valerio Checchi (both on Fischer) there were two further Italians in the top ten.
Christian Hoffmann (AUT, Fischer), who arrived especially for this race, achieved the nineth place at the finishline.
