Historical flood of medals at Olympics
The 2010 Olympic Games are history, and Fischer has gone into the history books. With an incredible 76 medals (31 x gold, 21 x silver and 24 x bronze), these were the most successful Winter Games ever for the Austrian company.
Once again the most successful ski brand, the Olympics saw Fischer break its own record of 72 medals won in Turin in 2006. Then 26 gold, 19 silver and 27 bronze medals were won by athletes who trust in the material of the innovation forge from Austria.
While the athletes are fighting for the medals, a similar fight between the individual brands with which the athlethes are successful takes place behind the scenes. This fight was clearly won in Vancouver by Fischer.
